Dead Rising 2

Finally this game arrives, and in order for you to get Dead Rising 2 working with your logitech rumblepad 2 or dual action game pad you just need to download and copy the following files into the installation directory as follows...

http://rapidshare.com/files/422778312/x360ce.vibmod.3.1.4.1.rar

C:\Program Files\Capcom\Dead Rising 2

x360ce.ini
xinput1_3.dll
XInputTest.exe

Btw, I only found it to work with 3.1.4.1, and no other older version, Now you can enjoy this with fill xbox 360 controller support, as it was made to enjoy... Let's go and slash zombies...

  7. As I have read somewhere this version of emulator (3.1.4.1)does not support XP but just might work (and as we can see it doesn't). So if u r using XP u can not do anything about it unless u change windows which I doubt u wanna do just for one game... Correct me if I am wrong

  21. Seems as it works fine for most people... Big thanks for the tip... Also some might have problems with cordless pads, while corded pads work great! So it's all life with PC... All depends on your setup and installations...

  23. here we go, I found a fix. This works perfectly on Rumble Pad 2

To get the Xbox 360 wireless controller working, download:

    http://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/list

Copy to your game folder. Run it.
Load the 360 wireless controller default
    Controller 1:
Force feedback tab - turn force feed back off
Advanced tab - turn native mode off
    Options tab:
Change Fake API from normal to compatibility
    Save, exit

  26. I can't make Dead Rising 2 working with this. Tried all possible scenarios listed here. When I start the game I can press "A"/"2" button on my gamepad to go to the main menu, but after that, the gamepad is gone. In Options -> Controllers, I can't see my gamepad detected. Any ideas?

  29. Works !!

    Usig above suggestion(s)

As the guy said in the post 2 above this

You MUST under the OPTIONs tab, Change from NORMAL to "Compatability" mode.

No need to rename xinput dll's.

as stated above follow this set up

1 - Copy to your game folder.
    2 - Run it.
3 - Load the 360 wireless controller default
    Controller 1:
4 - Force feedback tab - turn force feed back off
5 - Advanced tab - turn native mode off
    6 - Options tab:
Change Fake API from normal to compatibility
    7 - Save
    8 - exit
    9 - Open Dead Rising 2
    10 - Options, PC Settings < ENABLE > controller.

    Works 100%
