Fallout: New Vegas

To get Fallout: New Vegas running smooth with your logitech rumblepad2 or dual action gamepad, you'll need to download and copy the files to the installed folder...

\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout New Vegas\

dinput8.dll
xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll

Now, you can see that your pad works perfectly... Enjoy this game!

  1. rumble doesn't work sadly.

  2. Does "work" but the Left Analog is switched with the 4 directions button. This makes it nearly impossible to play the game. Would be thankfull for a fix.

  3. You could try editing the file : xbox360cemu.ini, I did not have to and does not got the issues you are talking about. I got a corded rumblepad 2 and a dual action pad. I've heard that sometime cordless pads could behave differently.

  5. Thanks, it works just fine with Cordless Rumblepad 2, a little different than the PS3 control setting for Fallout 3 to put an example but nothing that u cannot get used to, nice blog to help with this kind of issues, I was creating a profile on my own with the Logitech Profiler but it can be tricky, no need for that anymore, problem solved, again: thanks!

  6. Anyone else experiencing frame skipping/ shuttering that makes this game unplayable? Setting Ifps clamp to 60 makes it even worse. The same issue I had int the original Fall Out 3 game because the game engine is the same.

  11. Is there anything that will allow a ps3 remote to be used?

  12. I think for the ps3 controller you need to plug it into a USB port, :(, then it might work...

  13. Why do you want to use a ps3 remote, the rumblepad 2 feels so much better in the hands...
