Borderlands 2

To Borderlands 2 working with your Logitech Rumblepad 2 or Dual Action Gamepad do the following...

Download :

Extract the files :

dinput8.dll
xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll
XInputTest.exe

and copy them into the installed game folder :

\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Borderlands 2\Binaries\Win32\

or locate : Borderlands2.exe

And place the files in the same folder. Now I do like the first Borderlands, I do hope this one will live up to it.

Spec Ops: The Line

If you want Spec Ops: The Line working with your Logitech Rumblepad2 or Dual Action Gamepad, you will have to follow...

Download :

xbox360cemu.v.3.0.rar

Extract the files :
dinput8.dll
xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll
XInputTest.exe

and copy them into folder :

\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Spec Ops The Line\Binaries\Win32\

If you cannot find the folder, search for SpecOpsTheLine.exe, and place the files in the same folder found.

Don't know much about this game, but I will give it a go, mostly because there is not much else out there at the moment.

The Darkness II

To get The Darkness II working with your Logitech Rumblepad2 or Dual Action Gamepads, you have to do as follows :

Extract the files :

the following file should be in that directory : DarknessII.exe

and place the files in the same directory...

I'm not a great fan of First Person Shooters, but this game does have a come back for more appeal, and I will give this a go, as the story seems to be quite something else.

Duke Nukem Forever

Duke Nukem Forever, to get this working with your Logitech Rumblepad 2 or Dual Action Gamepad, you simply have to do the following...

Extract and copy the files from the archive to the installed directory :

You can now enjoy the game with full gamepad support, as it should be enjoyed... This is one of those classic games, that will attract the mature old-time gamers, and nothing you want your kids to be playing... Have a look at it first before you buy it, to see if it for you...

Mafia II

Finally Mafia II is available for the PC, and it works great with your logitech rumblepad2 or dual action game pad, if you install this xbox 360 controller emulation in the following directory :

\Program Files\2K Games\Mafia II\pc\

Download the files from :

Extract and copy the following to the folder...

x360ce.ini
xinput1_3.dll
XInputTest.exe

Now you can enjoy this game as it should be, with a great joy pad. I'm still stuck on playing the awesome Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, so this will have to wait until I've completed it... A quick look says that this game do look good, worth waiting for.

If you got a problem with the game being slow using vibmod 3.1.4.0 you should give the good old v3.0 a go :

unpack, and copy the files to the installed folder :

\Program Files\2K Games\Mafia II\pc\

And it should work just fine...

Bioshock 2

Another would be great game, if it had native pad support. You'll have to get mapping with xpadder.

Borderlands

This is an top of the line game, not to be missed by anyone, and to add some extra spice to the game play, put the emulation files into the following dir :

Program Files\2K Games\Gearbox Software\Borderlands\Binaries

xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll

Easily one of the more enjoyable games this year... So don't miss the adventure...
