Extract the files :

dinput8.dll
xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll
XInputTest.exe

and copy them into the installed game folder :

\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Darksiders II\

If you cannot locate the folder, try to search for :

Darksiders2.exe


Not exactly my kind of game, but I will give it a go... If you liked the previous version, you might enjoy this one... At least it's playable with a Game Pad after applying this fix...

Saints Row: The Third

To get Saints Row: The Third working the way it should you will have to do the following...

Download :

Extract the files :

x360ce.ini
xinput1_3.dll
XInputTest.exe


Into the following directory (where you find the saintsrowthethird.exe) :

\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Saints Row The Third\

If you still have problems, you might need to :

1. Find out the name of your gamepad in the control panel (Game Controllers), for me it was "Logitech RumblePad 2 USB".
2. Open Regedit, hit CTRL-F and type the name of your gamepad. It should find something like :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_046D&PID_C218
OEMName REG_SZ Logitech RumblePad 2 USB

3. Select Modify and enter "XBOX 360 Controller for Windows" (without the ").

You may also check that the VID & PID is matching your gamepad in the x360ce.ini file.

The PID & VID should be found as above in the KEY.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_046D&PID_C218
OEMName REG_SZ Logitech RumblePad 2 USB

VID=0x046D #controller VID
PID=0xC216 #controller PID

Now, I hope you get it working... Still I'm not sure if this game is my cup of tea...

Homefront, the only way to get this working with your logitech rumblepad2 or dual action gamepad is to follow the instructions below...

Finally the game we've been waiting for a while now, is available, and this is quite an amazing one, with a great story for the single player mode, you can probably enjoy this around more than once... The gameplay and artwork are great, it's a real winner for the first person shooter fans out there...

MX vs ATV Reflex does not support your Logitech Rumblepad 2 or dual action game pad without adding the xbox 360 emulation. Do so by downloading, and unpacking the files into the installed directory...

Darksiders

Darksiders is an excelent game, that needs a joypad to fully enjoy. You would need to install the xbox 360 joypad emulation in order to get it working with logitech Rumblepad 2 or the Dual Action Gamepad.

I've heard a lot of good about this game, so now let's see if it lives up it.

Metro 2033

Looks like a great game, if you want to get it working, you'll have to use the xbox 360 joypad emulation software x360ce vibmod 3.1.4.0, it works like a charm, copy the files :

x360ce.ini
xinput1_3.dll
XInputTest.exe

Into the installed directory where the metro2033.exe start file is located for example :

\Program Files\METRO 2033

I'm now off to evaluate this PC / XBOX 360 exclusive game, to see if it lives up to the hype. So far it looks very good.

Red Faction: Guerrilla

Another great title, that supports the rumble pad 2 just out of the box.

Great Work!.

And a pretty decent one aswell.

UP

UP is quite a nice game, but nothing that will last.

To get the emulation working copy the following :

Program Files/THQ/Disney_Pixar/UP

xinput9_1_0.dll

This game will pretty soon be resold. It's from what I've seen so far, not worth much.
