Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit works great with your Logitech Rumblepad 2 or Dual Action Gamepads, all you have to do is to download and install the following...
http://rapidshare.com/files/343322681/xbox360cemu.v.3.0.rar
Extract and copy the files into directory :
\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Need for Speed(TM) Hot Pursuit\
dinput8.dll
xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll
Now you can enjoy this awesome racing game.

ReplyDeleteWorked like a dream, 2010 hot pursuit
ReplyDeleteI can't navigate throught the menu with my rumblepad, works only in race, vibration not working either
ReplyDeletePLEASE IS THERE ANYONE TO HELP ME?I OWN RUMBLEPAD 2 YEARS NOW AND I HAVE NEVER PLAYED WITH VIBRATION!!!!!HOW THE HELL DOES RUMBLE WORK???MAY ANYONE TELL ME EVERY STEP I HAVE TO DO,AT LEAST FOR THIS GAME????
ReplyDeleteBURN IN HELL LOGITECH!!!!!!
Vibration works fine in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. Just use NFS:HP's built-in Rumblepad 2 recognition. Don't use the XBOX 360 emulation files mentioned above. They are unneeded.
DeleteNFS:HP is fully compatible with the Logitech Rumblepad 2, including force-feedback (rumble). There is no need for extra files! There is no need for the Logitech Profiler!
@ 2 years, clearly your a moron who is unable to read fairly simple directions or do a google search.
Delete:) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHow to enable vibration? Like in NFS Shift vibration with 360 emulator doesn't work at all.
ReplyDeleteI've never had vibration work. And I don't miss it a bit, it's an overrated feature... Be happy your pad is working as good as it does.
ReplyDeleteDon't use 360 emulator,
ReplyDelete1) just install lastest "Logitech Gaming Software"
2) insert rumblepad usb joystick to your pc.
3) start the game, go to configuration
and set joystick buttons for your needs...
And check "vibration"(a.k.a. "force feedback") status at options( If it's OFF, turn on it to ON )...
Rumblepad Joystick Vibration( How to open );
Press "vibration" button ones;
if it vibrates long time( more than 2-3 seconds ) it means; yeah vibration ON,
if it vibrates short time ( 1-2 seconds ) it means; vibration OFF
I don't like to use the Logitech Gaming Software, as it take away the "analog" when using the pad and the characters wont move as smooth as they do using the 360 emulator...
ReplyDeleteDownload link broken :/
ReplyDeleteDoesn't work for me. Neither copying the x360cemu files or using it directly with Logitech Gaming Software.
ReplyDeleteEach time I try to configure it, the keyboard is selected by default. No way to save config to use the pad...
:(
someone has the solution?? I can not record the configuration of my Rumblepad, please help!!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean by not record? You mean you cannot write into the folder? or?
ReplyDeleteno. I mean every time I open the NFSHP I have to configure the gamepad because unconfigures.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.tocaedit.com/IB/index.php?automodule=downloads&showfile=4 theres a working link since RS link is down
ReplyDeleteLogitech cordless rumblepad 2 works without x360 emu :)
ReplyDeleteWhere is xinput9_1_0.dll?
ReplyDeleteSome "Logitech Gaming Software Profile" for thie game???
ReplyDeleteomg vibration dont work 1. if i set buttons on my own in game 2. if i use 360ce 3.0 or 3.4or 3.4.1 ??? wtf anybody plizzz rumblepad 2 wirelles using
ReplyDeletelink kırık (TR)
ReplyDeletehi, the trick to the vibration is just click on vibration button during the game,,,,then it vibrates rest of the game.
ReplyDeleteNeed for Speed Hot Pursuit (2010) fully recognizes the Logitech Rumblepad 2. There is absolutely no reason to do XBOX 360 controller emulation or use the Logitech Profiler software.
ReplyDeleteIn Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, just select the "Game Play" settings, and from there select the "Controls" settings. In the controls settings it will show "Mouse and Keyboard" as the input device. Hit the right arrow key on your keyboard to change the input device to the Logitech Rumblepad 2. To change each of the individual buttons, you must press the enter key before pressing the button on the gamepad. Also "Brake" is the same as reverse, so make sure you set brake to be an analog stick movement opposite of your accelerate movement (i.e. if accelerate is analog up, make brake analog down).

DeleteI still prefer to use the XBOX 360 controller emulation in all games, regardless if they have support for the pad, then I know it follows a standard that I am used to...
ReplyDeleteI have very strange problem with Dual Action gamepad. I bought this game year ago on steam and everything worked on Dell l502x laptop. Emulator worked and I could play the game using Dual Action. Now I have Asus G55VW and when I extract emulator into directory game does not recognise my gamepad. When I delete emulator files, there is well-known crashing error. And now i can't play NFS HP. Does anyone know solution?
