Raven Squad: Operation Hidden Dagger

This is a not to good, but not to bad game, some like it some don't, whats good for us is that it fully works with the xbox 360 emulation and it works perfectly.

Download :

Extract and put the files into :

Program Files/Evolved Games/Raven Squad

xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll
XInputTest.exe

For me it's not a bad game, I'll give it a shot this weekend, and we'll see how well it will play.

Xpadder - Windows 7

For all you windows 7 users, that want to use xpadder, here is the windows 7 version of the .exe file:

http://rapidshare.com/files/270501316/Xpadder__Seven_.rar

It works perfectly fine. I'm now actually using windows 7 myself, still on the 32 bit version. There is little point yet for going 64bit, esp if you run mostly 32bit applications anyway (which most games are), it'll be a bit slower on the 64bit version, and memory usage just goes up.

Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 2: The Siege of Spinner Cay

Another release this month worth mention is Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 2, as with chapter 1.

A controller is already half-way supported. Why did they not go all the way?

You can use "xpadder" to map your mouse to your controller, suitable for this game is to use the right stick and R1 to click with.

I'll probably be waiting to play this one until the full DVD is released. It sucks to always end half way through a good adventure.

Wolfenstein

After a dry month of no real good game releases for the PC, we're back with a cool game that we all been waiting for, wolfenstein. Playable out of the box with a rumble pad 2, you just need to change the controller.

But to enjoy it fully, you have to install the xbox 360 emulation and it works perfectly.

Download :

http://rapidshare.com/files/249164419/xinputemu3.0.zip

Extract and put the files into :

Program Files/Activision/Wolfenstein/SP

xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll
XInputTest.exe

Then start the game, select controller "xbox-360...". And now you see press "A" & "B", etc... instead of just the Press [Enter], [Esc]...

This is quite a nice game, with patch 1.1 you will be able to enjoy the single player mode with save fully working.

I've not yet had a chance to fully evaluate it. I hope there is some way to turn of the blood & gore. :) So far I give it easily an 8.0.
