Finally this game arrives, and in order for you to get Dead Rising 2 working with your logitech rumblepad 2 or dual action game pad you just need to download and copy the following files into the installation directory as follows...
http://rapidshare.com/files/422778312/x360ce.vibmod.3.1.4.1.rar
C:\Program Files\Capcom\Dead Rising 2
x360ce.ini
xinput1_3.dll
XInputTest.exe
Btw, I only found it to work with 3.1.4.1, and no other older version, Now you can enjoy this with fill xbox 360 controller support, as it was made to enjoy... Let's go and slash zombies...

ReplyDeleteTo get the Xbox 360 wireless controller working, download:
http://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/list
Copy to your game folder. Run it.
Load the 360 wireless controller default
Controller 1:
Force feedback tab - turn force feed back off
Advanced tab - turn native mode off
Options tab:
Change Fake API from normal to compatibility
Save, exit
Great application by the way, works 100%
ReplyDeletethis worked for me but i had to go into options and enable controlers
ReplyDeleteI can't make Dead Rising 2 working with this. Tried all possible scenarios listed here. When I start the game I can press "A"/"2" button on my gamepad to go to the main menu, but after that, the gamepad is gone. In Options -> Controllers, I can't see my gamepad detected. Any ideas?
