Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing

Another cool racing game from SEGA featuring Sonic and the gang, this will be popular with the kids, and it's possible to play split screen up to 3 players, considering you got the pads.

It's easy enough to get working with the x360ce_vibmod_3.1.4.0, you can find the download link on this blog.

Copy the files into the directory :

Program Files\SEGA\Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing\

x360ce.ini
xinput1_3.dll

you can modify the x360ce.ini to make all you controllers work.

Oh yeah, now I'm off to play it in split screen. Don't forget to set the resolution / graphics levels using the config.exe file, there is no in game settings for those.

  1. I tried it (added the correct controller to the ini) but the controller keys do not work as expected. Did you make any other changes to the ini?

  2. Did you check if it works fine with the xinput test program ? that should have been included in the archive. I'm running on Win7 32Bit (did not want to go 64Bit to much driver problems).

  4. On my second rumblepad, the drift button is always depressed making it impossible to use the second controller in split screen. Has anyone found a work around for this?

  5. I've been playing this a lot in split screen, it's been working fine, but I got a rumblepad 2 and a dual action pad, don't know if there is much difference in the two. Check if any settings in your x360ce.ini is different between the two, check that they work fine when you use the XInputTest.exe to test the joypads.

  7. You'll have to enable 4 controllers in the x360ce.ini file.
