Download :

or
http://xinput.googlecode.com/files/xbox360cemu.v.3.0.rar
Extract the files :
dinput8.dll
xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll
XInputTest.exe
and copy them into folder :
\Program Files (x86)\DiRT Showdown\
if you have any trouble to locate the folder, you may try to find the file :
showdown.exe
and place the files in the same folder, and it should all work just fine.
I'm now off to enjoy this excelent driving game...

Doesnt work for me :( It disables the keyboard in the game and the pad isn't working anyway. Did you have to edit the ini file at all?

I first got the same as above as it disabled the keyboard but managed to fix it. Just copy xbox360cemu.ini and xinput1_3.dll to dirt shownown root folder as it says above. Ignore the other files. Run the game and it sees the controller.
