DiRT 3, to get it working with your rumblepad 2 or dual action game pad, you will have to do the following...Download :
http://rapidshare.com/files/343322681/xbox360cemu.v.3.0.rar
or
http://xinput.googlecode.com/files/xbox360cemu.v.3.0.rar
Extract the files :
dinput8.dll
xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll
XInputTest.exe
and copy them into folder :
\Program Files (x86)\Codemasters\DiRT 3\
Now the game works just perfectly with your pad, and you can enjoy this great driving game. If you like the previous games or similar games, you will find that this is a great one.

ReplyDeleteThere is a test program "XInputTest.exe" you can run this if you just unpack the files to any folder, and check if the pad works with this fix. If should be ok in the game if all works good with the test program.
ReplyDeletehi, dirt 2 was supported logitech rumlepad originally and vibrating. for dirt3 i install this stuff without checking the game but my control not vibratin, how can i solve it?

ReplyDeleteYeah vibration is something that rarely works with this pad and games, check if you get it working in the test program, if it does you might have a slight chance to have it working in the game. Myself rarely care that much for the force feedback, it does not really add anything to the overall game value...

Vibration is a lost cause in most games, including this one it seems. If you can make it vibrate in "XInputTest.exe" you have a higher chance it works with the game...
ReplyDeletehey. I apreciate your work. But I would like 2 add that you should test with out mod aswel. Cause Dirt 3 says it supports the logitech rumblepad 2 and mine works perfectly with Vibration and all no mods.

Anonymous is right. Go to controls, "choose preset" then logitech rumblepad 2 will appear. no need for mod lol.
