Finally the wait is over and I get to enjoy Test Drive on my PC hooked up to my HD TV, in high definition...
This will be an awaited enjoyment, to install the xbox 360 emulation, you just need to download and install the files...
http://rapidshare.com/files/343322681/xbox360cemu.v.3.0.rar
http://xinput.googlecode.com/files/xbox360cemu.v.3.0.rar
Unpack and install in the following location, where your game should be...
\Program Files\Atari\TDU2\
xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll
In the game itself, press 'esc' to bring up the menu, select 'Controls' press the * shaped button at the bottom of the menu to detect devices, and flip over to the device, and off you go with full game-pad control.

Hi ..The game won't start after unpack and install in the game directory
ReplyDeletethx
Sorry there was a typo, you should remove the dinput8.dll, don't use that file.
ReplyDeleteWhy i dont have vibration when i do this?
ReplyDeletecool thx didnt see any updates lately and was worried you didnt have enough time to keep us updated :)
ReplyDeleteI think there just haven't been enough games released lately... :)
ReplyDeleteAnd what about vibration?
ReplyDeleteHaha i had the same problems with the dinput8.dll file, the game would just hangon. Thats why im here also.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip! now it works :D
Thanks but i cant remap the keys. Everytime e try to remap a key i got the message "press only a button at once" or something like that. I can only play with the default keys.

ReplyDeletehow i can change this one ?
It works if I keep the standart settings, but when I try to change the buttons it always says I should only press one button, that happens both on sticks and buttons. any way to fix that?
ReplyDeleteYes pls how i can change buttons settings ?:(
ReplyDeletesorry but i don't understand whats with the 360 emulation? why should i need it? what has it to do with the rumblepad 2?
ReplyDeleteMy problem is just that i can't get my cordless logitech rumblepad 2 working correctly on tdu2.
The xbox 360 emulation is a tool that makes rumblepad 2 work on games designed to use a xbox 360 gamepad.
ReplyDeletethis game already supports rumble pad 2, no 360 emu needed, all keys re-mappable
ReplyDeletereally? when I click detect device, it shows only keyboard :/
ReplyDeleteJust try to remap a key without having the xbox360emu
ReplyDeleteTry just to copy from 360 emu "xbox360cemu.ini" and "xinput9_1_0.dll"
ReplyDeleteit shows only keyboard but U can remap
how can i switch buttons ? i want to steer from my left axis and accelerate/brake from the right axis ,how can i do this ? thanks in advance
