Call of Duty: Black Ops

To get Call of Duty: Black Ops working with your Logitech Rumblepad2 or Dual Action Gamepad, you'll need to download the following...

http://rapidshare.com/files/413975339/x360ce_vibmod_3.1.4.0.rar

And extract the files into the installed directory...

Now you may enjoy the game with full joypad support.

  3. Thanks! this works great. How would I edit the .ini file so that the D pad and left analog stick would be switched to match my Logitech Dual Action controller?

    Thanks!

  4. Yeah I would really love to know how to switch the D pad and the left analog as well. This and Fall New Vegas both are switched, and it would be a lot easier if they weren't. I've looked in the file and played around a bit, but I couldn't get them to switch correctly. Thanks.

  5. Holy crap! Why on earth would you post anything on Rapidshare? Can't download. Just get "please stop flooding our servers" message along with nagging to pay for the privilege of using their services.

  6. Never had any problems with Rapidshare. This is the first time I've seen anyone have problems downloading from there... :)

  7. Most problems are user related. Just like this dumbass who doesn't know how to download. I just downloaded the file with no problems. Of course the fucking idiot would blame the site for him not knowing what to do

  8. Wow, what a great blog for owners of these joypads. I just got a Dual Action Refresh, analog is making some problems, other than that, I'm really happy with it. Really adds something new to the games.

  9. Ok I'm kindda new to gamepads how do I extract the .rar to the installation directory... I don't even know what an installation directory is...

  10. It's where the game is located, usually in /Program Files/

you should find it if you order by date in explorer and check the most recent directories. I'll get back to you when I pick up the game.

  15. Got it. Extracted it. Put it in install directory. Nothing happens Win 7 64 bit OS.
Shows a gamepad setting in the game control section but it isn't lit.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Did you check that it works with the test program? I use win 7 32 bit (32 bit because I know that running 64 bit is asking for trouble, when it comes to games and drivers, and btw, no game is 64bit so they all run under 32bit anyway...)

  17. 64 bit came with the computer. Ran test and had only the right joystick work. No buttons. Thanks.

  18. Thanks!!

Download from Rapidshare resulted in an archive called rsapi.cgi(?) but it extracted ok. Copied content to game install directory and everything works as advertised - Win7/64bit.

  19. The dual action is unusable for this game because the sensitivity on the right analog stick (look) is jacked up. If you have the controller settings in-game to LOW it moves stutteringly, if you go HIGH it insanely fast, in the middle its also terrible. Anyone else find that aiming at targets is nearly impossible with the controller because of this?

  20. If I'm using Steam, what is the "installed directory" ?

  21. the button is lit, everything is fine but i can't do anything in game. I turned it ON and still, can't do anything. Just mouse and keyboard working

  26. I can not say thank you. Rumblepad 2 to work with other emulators in the Call of Duty - Black Ops.x360ce.vibmod.3.1.4.0-works the same way, because there is no vibration. Does anyone tell me how to adjust the vibration

    ReplyDelete
  27. I doubt you can get vibration working... I've never seen it work using the emulation, except in maybe one or two games out of hundreds...

  28. I added the files to the right directory:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam
And ran the XInputTest.exe and it shows the controller connected and buttons all working. However loading the game the controller doesn't work. What now?
