James Cameron's Avatar: The Game

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game

Finally I got my hands on this game, after seeing the movie twice... This is avtually quite a good game, but considering the money spent on the movie, we do expect that it should be much much better... Works fine on my windows 7, 32bit. I followed the instructions below to get the rumblepad2 wording, and the dual action also works fine with this setup. Considering a lack of games lately this is an ok game to relax with for the time beeing, and you can play it twice, once as a human, and once as a avatar, a bit into the game you'll get to choose what path you want to take, by either sticking with the avatars, or the humans. use the xbox 360 joypad emulator as follows...

Download :

http://rapidshare.com/files/318950698/x360ce_vibmod_3.1.4.0.rar

And copy the files :

x360ce.ini
xinput1_3.dll
XInputTest.exe

Into the directory

\Program Files\Ubisoft\James Cameron's AVATAR - THE GAME\bin\

(x360ce.ini in the pack is moded to work with a logitech rumblepad 2, check the Index=0 (controller index in system game controllers list)).

  3. Excuse me for a question maybe not in time, but have you even launched SH Homecoming? It's very stupid, but when I bind a button e.g. for a flashlight, after the game restarts it doesn't determinate this button at all! it just doesn't work in the game =\
    only defaults work

  4. I'm using this with the .ini file in the pack, and it works fine on windows 7 32 bit. I did not alter any controller configuration only play with the default one. I use the one from rapidshare, but seems like some idiot removed it, I'll see if I can find somewhere to upload the .ini file that is the key to getting all buttons to work.
