Starcraft II, is the kind of game you play with mouse and keyboard, so there is no joypad support whatsoever, your only chance is to use xpadder to map the arrow keys and mouse if you want to play it logitech rumblepad 2 or dual action gamepad style.This is still a very good game, and it can be enjoyed well with a pad in single player casual mode, since the seconds you loose by using a pad rather than a mouse can be neglected for the convenience of using a pad.
I'm so far more than a few hours into the game, and I must say this is one of the great titles released this year. If you like this kind of games, this is a must play...

I play almost all my games with logitech pad and it's much better than mouse and keyboard. I play several other RTS with it and It's much easier than using mouse and keys. SC2 is definately the type of game you DO play with a pad like all the other games I play. The fact that there is no support for them in the game is just plain stupid unless they did it becuase they wanted everyone on the same playing field using mouse and keys. It's not becuase mouse and keys are better, it's becuase of the reason I just suggested I think. Also, playing this type of game alot with mouse and keys will give you repetitive stress injuries like carpal tunnel. I play my other RTS games more effectively with a gamepad than mouse and keys, because once you know how to use a gamepad, you use it correctly and see that having 8 keys in your hands at all times is great. I'm alot faster with the gamepad than without it. I also was a person that grew up playing RTS games with mouse and keys so I have alot of experience with both.
